Does Seattle Sutton Have Low Carb Diets?
Our Dietitian-Designed Meal Plans Are Well Balanced And Not Considered Ultra Low-Carb Meal Plans.
Our Dietitian-Designed Meal Plans average 45-50% of calories from carbohydrates. The American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association recommend 45-65% of calories from carbohydrates. We do not offer a low-carb meal plan, but rather focus on the right balance of carbs, protein, and fat for optimal health.
The average carbs per meal on the Dietitian-Designed Meal Plans are as follows:
1200-calorie: 40 g of carbs per meal
1200-calorie vegetarian: 53 g of carbs per meal
2000-calorie: 63 g of carbs per meal
2000-calorie vegetarian: 77g of carbs per meal
Please note that the carbohydrate amounts listed do not include the dairy servings that we recommend on the Dietitian-Designed Meal Plans.
If choosing the Choose Your Own Meals plan, customers are able to mix and match any combination of meals from the weekly menus to create an 8, 10, or 12 meal set. Detailed nutrition information is readily available when choosing the meals to create any level of carbohydrates desired.
