It all comes down to calories.
Your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is the number of calories your body burns to maintain vital bodily functions such as organs and cells. It is impacted by one's lean body mass and their total body mass, meaning the greater mass you have, the higher your BMR. To calculate the number of calories you need to gain weight, you need to increase your calorie intake above your BMR. By choosing the right calorie level for your meal plan, you may be able to gain weight while on our plan. You are always welcome to add additional snacks or drinks to the plans to help increase your calorie intake further. If you need assistance determining what calorie level is best for your goals, please reach out to our Registered Dietitians at (800) 442-3438 or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org
